Though hampered by some of the Nightwishcore trappings, dense production chief among them, the sheer scope of the music on display ensures the entertainment value survives unscathed. Germany Pfundstein, and their legion of guitarists give incredible individual performances, they are limited by a set of songs that could never be more than standard heavy metal fare. I’m glad to find that Greely’s voice has aged well, and I hope to hear it again soon on an album worthy of its power.
