Jim and Dean spent the entire afternoon talking about collaborating. Gypsy Blue formed in 1989 in Alexandria and “Creative Tension” is their one and only effort released by the band in limited copies. Although it is very rare to be found nowdays, musically the band don’t have a clear sound as they blend elements of hair metal, classic rock, funky and prog. Indeed there’re some good guitar solos as the rocked up re-make of the Garth Brooks smash hit “Friends in Low Places”.
