The title of this reissue is quite misleading. "Keeping It Country" is in fact an exact reissue of Exile's 1980 album titled "Don't Leave Me This Way" but it predates the releases of the 1980's when they enjoyed a more sustained wave of success as a country band. One would presume Curb Records decided to rename the 1990 cd release "Keeping It Country" for commercial reasons. More»
I LOVED, LOVED this CD!!! I have three of Dan Hills albums and this one I love as much as the other two!! He writes some of the most BEAUTIFUL music about relationships, loving someone and losing someone. His music touches my spirit!!! ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank You Dan for more GREAT MUSIC!!!
Hard to find nowdays indie released in 2003 by the band in very limited copies. A collection of ten tracks cross between hard rock and glam with some metal vibes in parts. Many may argue the album already sounded good in its original release: indeed, it was marvelously produced and the original CD sounds good. Also the Bad Reputation remaster is very good.However this Rock Candy remaster has something special, the whole record sounds ‘airy’, like a pristine quality vinyl LP brand new. More»
