The band was formed in 1986 by ex-Old Scratch vocalist Marshall Nelson, ex-Sassy Jones/Windfall keyboardist Ron Logan, ex-One Of A Kind bassist Jeff Johnson, guitarist Mark Scheele and drummer Mark Simma. The drummer would split after only one jam session and was quickly replaced by ex-Steve O’Neill Band skinsman Donnie Frank.
Sphinx was founded in 1992 by vocalist Manuel Rodríguez and drummer Carlos Delgado. To date, the group has released 5 albums, being one of the most recognized Spanish Heavy Metal bands since the release of their first album: Sphinx, in 2001. More»
