After their respective previous bands had disbanded in 1989 bassist and guitarist Thomas Claus Vonberg Tefke met in the spring to a joint session. They were joined by guitarist and keyboardist Harald Möllges. Thomas' old friend Roland Busch helped out on drums. Inspired by Hard'n'Heavy known bands of the late 70s and early 80s, Claus and Thomas were stylistically immediately agreed: Classic, rifforientierter Heavy Metal, with room for melodic vocals and a driving rhythm section.
