On April 22, 1995, the metal community tragically lost in a car accident one of the greatest and most underrated vocalists from the genre. His name was Carl Albert. Most knew him as the vocalist for the long-running Vicious Rumors – which he joined around 1987. Denim was formed in 1970 and the band is based in Austin, Texas. Denim's first album was released on Epic Records in 1977. The album was produced by John Boylan and the first he produced after Boston's debut album. At the time of the release the band was compared to the Eagles. The album was their only release on Epic. After a struggle with the record companies, Denim was forced to temporarily change their name to "Traveler" to be able to get their second album released on ABC. More»
