After 4 appreciated US Tours, with +100 gigs in Scandinavia and the US, airtime in Swedish, European and American Radio and various endorsements deals, and after releasing much appreciated album “Until We Are Dead” (2009), OUTSHINE now focus on upcoming new album “Addiction” set to be released June 6th 2012.
OUTSHINE (Gothenburg, Sweden) entered Grand Recordings Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden fall 2011 to record their new album “Addiction”. The album is produced by Svein Jensen (M.A.N., Sister Sin, Hide The Knives, Troublemakers, Devilicious etc) and Jimmy Norberg (Outshine, Dead Tree Music artists, etc). The album is mastered by Göran Finnberg (Meshuggah, Opeth, The Haunted, In Flames etc).
OUTSHINE has a dark and melancholy approach to their music and are working with bulldozer-heavy sound, gothic darkness and are adding influences from the darkest metal to the best melodic rock.
Vocals compared with icons as Billy Idol and Vince Neil makes OUTSHINE´s sound unique and fresh and the music has been compared with bands like System Of A Down, Paradise Lost, HIM, Life Of Agony and Alice In Chains.
