ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese alternative rock band that combines the sounds of such bands as blink-182 and the Foo Fighters in their work.
The band was founded in 2005 by guitarist Toru. After a number of successful concerts, the band released the EP One Ok Rock in mid-2006, followed by another mini-album, Keep It Real, at the end of the same year. Songs from the single "Naihi Shinsho" (2007) were played on the radio and opened the way to the general public.
The musicians consider their work to be a mixture of rock, emo, metal and hardcore. Also among the most influential on their work, they attributed: My Chemical Romance, Enter Shikari, Good Charlotte, Last Winter, Saosin, Linkin Park, Metallica, RIZE.
