New band New Horizon Vocalist Erik Grönwall and songwriter/producer/multi-multi-instrumentalist Jona Tee, former bandmates of H.E.A.T., continue their musical partnership with the release of their new power metal project, New Horizon! The duo's debut album, Gate Of The Gods, will be released on CD/LP/Digital on March 11th, 2022 through Frontiers Music Srl. Released full album Gate Of The Gods.
After a few months of mysterious work in the studio, the reunion of Grönwall and Tee brings us a true metal album that will make an unexpected impression on the power metal scene. The epic and powerful music maintains a solid heavy metal foundation while delivering truly infectious melodies. Fans of Greenwall will be delighted to hear his vocals in arguably the best form of his career, like a metal warrior singing those anthems from the highest mountaintop. And Tee, as always, delivers incredible production to match these Power Metal anthems.

The seeds of NEW HORIZON were planted in Jonas' youth as he grew up listening to (and still loving) Iron Maiden, Helloween, Hammerfall, Manowar, Edguy and more. Heavy metal is in his blood and New Horizon is something that runs through his veins and is very close to his heart. He always dreamed of one day releasing his own power metal anthems. When asked about the sound of New Horizon, Jona Tee describes it as "a mix of classic power and heavy metal, with a touch of 2021".
The original idea for New Horizon was to have multiple lead singers perform on the album; however, that all changed when Erik Gronwall came into the studio to record two songs for the album. Although Erik recently H.E.A.T. left, both boys felt the need to continue working together. The songs that Jona had written for the debut album New Horizon fitted Erik's voice like a glove. Being an insanely versatile singer who could bring a more band-like character to the project, Jona knew he was the right man for the job. Sharing Jona's passion for the genre, Erik happily joined NEW HORIZON to use his voice to bring Jona's vision of power metal to life. By recording those first two songs, they began brainstorming and visualizing a future together under the New Horizon banner... and they liked what they heard and saw.
"It felt so natural to continue working together. We've toured pretty much the world and released music together for a decade. Jona really is like a blood brother to me and New Horizon will be the catalyst for us to releasing great metal together and just having fun," says Grönwall.
