Australian band MYSTERY, once the youngest Hard Rock band touring the world, has grown up. Founded in 2010 by guitarist and singer Rocky Ravic, they quickly rose to the top of the ladder of success around the globe. Their debut album ‘2013’ from that year and the follow-up ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ were promoted with tours, gigs and festivals all over the world. They toured in Japan, Australia, USA and Europe and played on the main stage at many festivals together with bands like MÖTLEY CRÜE, MOTÖRHEAD, IRON MAIDEN, TWISTED SISTER, MEGADETH, CHEAP TRICK and many more.
After a long break, MYSTERY 2021 returned with their ‘Live Life Loud’ album in the middle of Covid. Despite all the resistance and complications at the time, the band was still able to prove what they were made of and inspire fans old and new alike.

Now they present us their 4th studio album ”Mind Pollution”. Without a doubt, this is their best and most mature recording to date – a firework of melodic rock and precise choruses. In addition to the eight original compositions, it includes two cover versions. The first one is the TWISTED SISTER classic ‘You Can’t Stop Rock’n’Roll’, and the second one is “No Secrets” by the Australian cult band THE ANGELS.

Mystery’s melodic hard rock music is punchy, hard-edged with sharp guitars, powerful vocals and some really good melodies with influences from the current Scandinavian scene but also the classic US sound from the genre. The killer opener tune of “Writing On The Wall” is classic 80s hard rock stuff, while with “Dead By Sunday”, “Fantasy”, “Take You Down” and “Alive Today” the band delivers some excellent and in-your-face heavy rock gems with attitude and some huge hook n’ choruses in it enough to having you humming for days.
And their cover of “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll” is really good, full of fire, hot n’ heavy, while the version of The Angel’s ‘No Secrets’ is more wet, performed in a retro-style and very well done.

”Mind Pollution” rocks, and rocks really hard. This is melodic hard rock, but aggressive, ballsy, with attitude. Ravic’s vocals are raspier than before, and the guitars bite, with razon rhythm parts and huge solos.
MYSTERY has evolved into a steamrolling rocking machine, and we celebrate that. This album will knock your socks off.
