Formed in 1992, MUD SLICK quickly became a staple of the Swiss hard rock scene with their gritty sound and no-nonsense attitude that defined their early years earning them a loyal following. Their debut album, ”Keep Crawling in the Mud”, recorded in the USA during the Los Angeles riots, captured an unmistakably raw energy that is often compared to Skid Row, Gotthard or Shakra and cements the band’s stellar reputation to this day.
Long time out of print, now “Keep Crawlin’ In The Mud” is being reissued 2025, and believe us, this album kills. Produced by Claudio Matteo (guitarist for Swiss hard rockers China) and engineered by expert Pat Regan (Alien, KISS, Black ‘N Blue), this 10-tracker sounds million bucks!
Released in 1993 when this type of powerful yet polished hard rock was out of fashion, ”Keep Crawling in the Mud” went pretty unnoticed, however MUD SLICK rocked many stages in Europe and the U.S. all over the Nineties, both as headliners and as support act for Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Motörhead, and many more.
”Keep Crawlin’ In The Mud (2025 reissue)” still sounds fresh and relevant, and MUD SLICK, much to the delight of all classic hard rock fans, are back on the road again, and there’s a new album in the making.
