13th studio album of the Portuguese gothic metal formation MOONSPELL, which will be released on February 26, 2021 under the title "Hermitage" and will be launched as a direct successor to "1755" from 2017.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Colombian Jaime Gomez Arrelano (Paradise Lost, Ghost and others) at Orgone Studios/England, this new work by the band, which was founded in 1992 and initially launched three years earlier under the name Morbid God, features cover artwork penned by Latvian artist/musician Arthur Berzinsh. The new drummer Hugo Ribeiro, who has been part of the five-member lineup since last year, can be heard on the album for the first time.
