Respected Danish vocalist and guitarist Mike Tramp will release a new album, "Songs Of White Lion - Vol. III", on September 19 via Frontiers Music Srl. As was the case with "Songs Of White Lion - Vol. I" and "Songs Of White Lion - Vol. II", the upcoming LP once again sees Tramp re-imagining select cuts from his former band WHITE LION.
MIKE TRAMP, the unmistakable voice and songwriter behind WHITE LION, concludes his heartfelt trilogy with ”Songs of White Lion Vol. III” — a powerful and personal tribute to his own legacy of one of the most iconic bands of the ‘80s melodic hard rock scene.
With this third and final chapter, Tramp revisits and reimagines ten more essential tracks from the White Lion catalog, faithfully re-recorded with the energy, maturity, and authenticity that only a lifetime of experience can bring. Joining him once again are his trusted current bandmates Marcus Nand (guitar), Claus Langeskov (bass), and Morten Hellborn (drums), who bring a fresh yet respectful approach to these timeless songs.
And indeed these fresh versions sound powerful, with a big production sound. From the raw intensity of “Fight To Survive” to the dramatic storytelling of “Warsong” and the infectious groove of “Radar Love,” this collection is both a celebration and a reawakening — offering long-time fans a new way to connect with the music that defined a generation.
