Midnite Sky "Blood, Sweat And A Little More" The Stuttgart band MIDNITE SKY has been standing for over 15 years for melodic hard rock that American high-gloss bands such as Dokken, Van Halen or Mötley Crüe established in the 80s. Sprawling riffs, polyphonic choral singing, tight rhythm work are fused into catchy rocking songs as you know and appreciate them from that era.
With "Blood, Sweat And A Little More" the band now presents their second full-fledged long player. The qualities such as catchy hooks, stylistic range and well-founded musical craft, which already characterized the predecessor "Rock The Planet", were refined even more on the new album. The new output also features highly melodic moments such as "Feels Like Heaven" or "All I Ever Want", classic good mood numbers ("Waiting For Your Love") and dramatically rocking songs ("Lay Down Your Fear", " Hellfire ") a wide, successful selection of traditional hard rock of American style. MIDNITE SKY know how to bundle their musical strengths even more fully than in their remarkable predecessor and present themselves energetic, fresh, always competent but never intrusive. Of course, the band does not reinvent the musical wheel, but convinces with compact, sophisticated arrangements that inevitably captivate the listener and invite him to spend a good time.
