Their contribution to the genre is invaluable, and they keep inspiring fans throughout the world, from generation to generation.
The Metal Hall of Fame does The Hall of Heavy Metal History Gala on annual basis in Anaheim California. In addition, they joins with the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.
Now The Metal Hall of Fame is set to release their first ever “Metal Hall of Fame All Stars” CD, including appearances by Tim “Ripper” Owens (ex-Judas Priest), Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Uriah Heep), Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater), Chris Impellitteri, Michael Romeo (Symphony X), Bruce Kulick (ex-KISS), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne), Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth), Geoff Tate (ex-Queensryche), Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and more.
All is handled by Grammy Award winning metal producer/engineer Neil Kernon (Judas Priest, Dokken, Yes, Queensryche).
This is all metal stuff with very good musicianship, all conducted by Studio-touring drummer / Metal Hall of Fame Founder Pat Gesualdo. There’s a pure metal tune in ‘Apocalypse’ featuring shouter Tim “Ripper” Owens and a swirling guitar work by Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob).
”Attack of the Witch” is a groovy darker heavy tune featuring vocalist Mike Tirelli (Riot, Holy Mother), legendary bassist Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow), Guitar genius Tony MacAlpine (G3 Tour, Steve Vai), and beyboardist Derek Sherinian (Kiss, Dream Theater).
Excellent singer Chandler Mogel (Outloud) peforms on the melodic hard rocker “World’s Apart” (a highlight), helped by Bruce Kulick on guitar, Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Pat Gesualdo on drums / percussion. A favorite is the extensive ‘All Star Jam’ with Geoff Tate on vocals, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani & ex-Megadeth Chris Poland on guitar, among others.
