Melyra is an independent all female heavy metal band, formed in 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On the line up are Verônica Vox (vocals), Fe Schenker (guitar), Nena Accioly (bass) e Roberta Tesch (guitar).
In 2014 we've released our first studio record, the "Catch me if you can" EP, followed by 2 singles, "Run & burn" and "Molly whooped". We’ve also recorded a version of "Living and drifting", that is featured on the tribute album to the singer Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra, Almah), named "A new lease of life". Now, in 2018, we’ve released “Dead Light”, the first single of our upcoming album, "Saving you from reality".
