You get it at first sight: album title, album cover art, and being released by Danish record label Lions Pride Music; “Throwback“, the debut album from LOUD SOLUTION is pure ’80s inspired — melodic hard rock / AOR inspired to be more precise.
From the heart of the city of Santiago in Chile, Loud Solution is a melodic rock band dating back to the early 2010’s, founded by the guitarist Ignacio Ruiz in the aim to keep and evolve the classic 80’s sound with a modern touch.
Loud Solution went through various line-up changes, but it was not formalized until the arrival of the COVID pandemic in 2020 when Ignacio left his prior sleaze rock band “Nazty Gunz” to record and produce the first official Loud Solution home-made demo called “Revival”, it was made entirely by himself.
Lions Pride Music loved what they heard, and “Throwback” is being released today. Yeah, we really like what we heard too all over the 10 tracks.
Since the keyboard-run at the beginning of opener ‘These Times’ and its energetic melodic rhythm, LOUD SOLUTION brings to mind Greek AORsters Wild Rose: melodic guitars, cachy chorus, a little accent on the vocalist – which provides a cool touch – you know this is classic ’80s stuff.
