Well, Lordi are back! (not exactly back but ok, at least they released something new after their 2010 album "Babez For Breakfast". The band has been through way too many changes since BFB release, drummer Kita left, his replacement Otus died this year and almost 2 months ago keyboardist Awa left as well..
"Bend Over And Pray The Lord" is an old demo, recorded back in 1996 with members only Mr. Lordi on vocals, Amen on guitars, Enary on keyboards and G-Stealer on bass..so let's see what "Bend Over And Pray The Lord" is..
The intro song, "Playing The Devil" is a good, dynamic intro which reminds us one of the great tracks included on the "Monsterican Dream", the track "Bring It On (The Raging Hounds Return), so we got some oldschool Lordi here, with an album that strongly reminds us of the first two albums, Get Heavy and The Monsterican Dream. The track "Steamroller" is almost the same with "Who's your Daddy", track off the Arockalypse. KISS's cover "Almost Human", though is gorgeous.The demo version of Get Heavy has more horror elements than the original one.
In some words, this demo album is a great old-school Lordi classic, but still reminds of every other songs..come on guys, we could wait till your next one..
