Formed by singer and bassist Tom Croucier - brother of the well-known RATT bassist Juan Croucier - Life By Night had the songs and the look, but unfortunately not the luck they deserved.
After playing in several bands over the years, Tom had been part of Roger Romeo's group, the Romeo, and Vic Vergat, playing on the latter's album, 1981's Down To The Bone. Tom even played the bass on the Scorpions' Blackout album.
