Whenever something gets on my radar that receives too many positive accolades or too much praise; whether its people, places, foods, music, movies, etc…. I become wary of it, because I am cynical and have been burned one too many times. In fact, I become so disinterested that I tend to walk away from it as to allow my colorful Mandrill-like-behind to be displayed proudly to show that I’m rejecting the object. However, I have had to rethink my rigid and judgmental behavior with Toronto’s Laugh at the Fakes and their debut full-length, Dethrone the Crown.
