Germany, high recomendated, LAKE PLACID - which began in 1978 as a school band, quickly led to the boardrooms of the record companies and the youth magazine BRAVO. In 1980, Hardrock's band led by bandleader Detlef "Scooter" Gödicke released their first internationally acclaimed album "Rock Is Alive". Before the band broke up at the end of 1980, none other than Lenny Wolf replaced the bandleader for half a year. He then went to the USA and celebrated with his new band project -KINGDOME COME- several platinum successes in the US, Japan and Europe.
