The mutual love for heavy music combined with the genuine desire to create catchy, accessible tunes, was the main motivation for the 4 gentlemen of King Hiss to form a band.
The fact that every bandmember came from a different musical background – ranging from hardcore to metal, over classic and stonerrock – contributed to their own trademark style and sound.
If you were to give human form to their musical style, it would probably be the bastard child of Mastodon and Kyuss: a mix of voracious riffing, thunderous rhythms and exhausting energy.
