All In is the third album from German rockers Kickhunter. The band, which features Helloween guitarist Markus Grosskopf and a trio of vocalists (Jorg Wesenberg and female vocalists Ela and Melanie Black) plays what can only be called classic rock. It's uncomplicated, Southern-flavored barroom rock, and Kickhunter does it quite well.

All In is a fun album. It's obvious these guys are going for a sound that brings to mind classic bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company and Deep Purple. It's a wild, boisterous rock n' roll album with plenty of melody, nice Hammond organ sound, catchy vocal choruses, and a top-notch production job from Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69). In addition to rockers like "Mine All Mine" and soulful Southern ballads like "Feels Like Home," All In features a pair of covers. The first is a cover of Victory's "The Check's In the Mail" (with Accept's Hermann Frank on guitar) and the second is a rockin' rendition of Blondie's "Call Me."

They're not doing anything new, but Kickhunter certainly knows how to have fun and rock hard. If you're looking for a good, old school hard rock album that's guaranteed to get you moving, you should definitely give All In a spin.
