KADAVAR are the new sensation in the currently extremely vital Retro Rock / Doom / Psychedelic Rock genre. The Berlin-based trio consists of Wolf (guitar / vocals), Mammoth (bass) and Tiger (drums). The band survived the occult psychedelic proto-hard rock and metal of the early 70s, a la Black Sabbath, Pentagram, or Hawkwind. In early March, the self-titled debut album of the power trio was a bombshell into the scene: Published on This Charming Man Records and the American cult label Tee Pee Records, the vinyl record in the first two months sold after the release of three editions (3,000 copies). In July, the CD and download version will be released
worldwide via Tee Pee Records. After the Visions Kadavar as "phenomenon", the band can just rub your eyes as if their rapid success: have played at the end of the summer Kadavar Support for Sleep, Saint Vitus, Pentagram and Electric Wizard. Festival appearances at the Desert Festival, Stoned From The Underground, Yellow floor, Fusion Festival, Duna Jam, Roadburn 2013 are booked or have been played, the Cologne concert at 12.06. will be recorded by Rockpalast and aired the news of Kadavar spreads faster than the band can count their Facebook Likes.
