Yin and Yang is the culmination of nine months of writing and recording. John Rogue’s debut album was recorded in 2013 with Mark Reed producing and engineering the record for his independent record label, Sovereign-Records.
Bringing in the best session musicians available was a must have, and we were lucky to get two of the best. Dave Demarco (Crack the Sky, Several Species) and Joe Barrick (The Sam Grow Band, Hydra Fx) together formed the perfect rhythm section for John’s eclectic mix of musical styles. Dave on Bass Guitar and Joe on Drums provided a perfect match for this groove driven CD. Hopefully you have as much fun listening to this CD as we did making it.
