Solid Logic is the second and last solo album by Jim Rafferty. On the album he was more in control of the recording process as the album was produced by Jim Rafferty & Martin Levan. The result is an album with a sound which is more his own contrary to his first effort which logically was heavily influenced by his brother Gerry. Gerry only contributes vocals on two tracks on Solid Logic.
It is also more of a band effort as the core of the players are the same on all tracks: Don Airey (Synthesizers), John Giblin (Bass), Preston Heyman (Drums), Hugh Burns (Guitars) and Frank Bogie (Guitars).
At the time the album was only released in the UK and it has never been re-issued.
