tJackie Bodimead has warm and sensual voice like Cher, and a hot body and sexy like that of a playmate, one of the first questions that come to mind is, therefore, what the hell he was doing in Girlschool, female band consisting of notoriously bad Bad girls bad and pissed off (we’re talking several decades ago, of course).

Already in 1985 because Jackie has recorded with the girls of the NWOBHM album “Running Wild” (the ill-distributed anywhere on the planet, who knows a thing or collector). But Jackie’s career there are also the Canis Major (British rock pomp with the platter “Butterfly Queen” in 1980 assets) and If Only (with which only recorded some demo songs).

In 1996, the gorgeous blonde comes the debut solo on Scratch Records, and the chronicles tell us that the ’99 was ready for a sequel that problems within the label basically disintegrated into thin air, stopping abruptly Bodimead dreams of glory. “Do not Believe In Love”, as many albums as programmatically deny the love from the title, which basically is a platter of discetta themes of love and tonal similarities with that of Jackie Cherylin Sarkisian LaPierre is really impressive (listen “Forever”). The sound of these ten songs stood on an AOR often compared to the last production of the Fastway, or tastieroso very hard rock, pop-friendly, and profoundly American, generous use of fats and large chorus, and a decent leading role of the beautiful Jackie along the unraveling of the song.

No coincidence that there is co-producing and songwriting by Lea Hart, former Ya Ya, author, in turn, also related to two solo albums with Fastway (where he briefly held the post of vocalist), So ‘is that in his “Trapped” in 1992 also plays Fast Eddie Clark. “Do not Believe In Love” is a pleasant album of American rock and it will be hard to resist, by fans of the genre, the hits of killer tracks like “Victim of Love” or “Stay Together”, are matters of the heart!
