HIGHWAY HORIZON is the project of songwriter Kari Peltola from Finland with only one thing in mind: timeless melodic rock with AOR touches, all wrapped by an organic production and melodious refrains / choruses inspired by the Eighties / Nineties.
For debut album “Twilight Dimension” released today Kari enlisted some respected session musicians from the Scandinavian scene and took the time to polish everything into the studio – no rush, no label pressure – this is a project long time in the making.
Then Peltola’s wish was to get vocalists with a traditional style for the genre to round up a classic sound. Top names provide quality singing all over “Twilight Dimension”: Lee Small (Shy, Lionheart), Nils Nordling (Dreamtale, Silver Bullet), Herbie Langhans (Voodoo Circle, Avantasia), Daniel Pinho (Silent Moon), etc.
A strongly written and very enjoyable album rich in melody.
