Upright bass player Crash slapped the psycho vibe in, Mean Krapula the pounding drumbeats.Unfortunately as things go, their ways seperated and now in the tradition of the original line-up, drummer Gringo Starr (ex Reef Rider) and doublebass player Nik Nitro (ex Mutant Wolf)recently joined the rest of Hellsonics bringing along an even wilder ,deeper and creepier sound. Brain Detzer’s guitar has still a punk attitude from the doomdays of Discharge, but can also aim reverb on a wave of Danzig.

Singer Killie Sonics was on the airwaves during her ten year run as host of Shock Report, the hardest radio show in Belgium at the time.
She’s been vibrant in live bands since 1989, (Kin Without the Blood, Vais) yet with the rise of Hellsonics her haunting voice reaches beyond former boundaries.
The new line-up is ready to set the right tone to what have to become the fundaments of a new psyched out punkmetal style!
Don't expect too much full high speed punkabilly from this band. But instead you get nice rocking, dark rolling, but heavy sounding originals, overloaded with a thumping slapping bass, heavy distorted guitars and a powerfull female voice.
Just let the Hellsonics blast through all the watts you got or go watch them see live on a stage in your neighbourhood. The purist nitpickers might back off in disbelief to their old ways, while reckless fanatics praise this band as a bold dose of unorthodox rock & roll.
