HeatStroke’s history started in 1982 by Heinz Kreusel and Christian Kreusel who decided to mix up the Hard and Heavy scene in Germany. They formed a band called “Iron Horse”, gain minor success in Europe and airplay from radio stations in the USA, before they split up in 1989.
After years the founders of Iron Horse started a new project titled “HeatStroke”, find the right members and they released an album back in 1998 titled “Censored”, with lots of keys and guitars but with a decent production. The vocalist, Heinz Kreusel, has a very broad range and sounds great. I hear styles ranging from Treat, Great White, Domain, Gotthard in some of the songs, then there is some Bon Scott era AC/DC popping up as well. This is a very good album that I enjoy listening to from time to time….
