From the metal wonderland of Sweden comes a new traditional heavy metal band HAVEN. HAVEN”s music is described as “the perfect mix of classic hard rock, melodic metal and rock’ n roll” and the band is compared not quite rarely acts as the Scorpions, Europe and Dream Evil. Their stage performances has had audiences cheering around Europe. We’re talking energy, melodies and influences from hard rock in the borderland between the 80s and the 90s comfortably positioned in the 2010s. Haven has toured as the main act but also shared stages with legends like The Quireboys, Megadeth, Unisonic, Fatal Smile, Pain, etc.
HAVEN was formed in 2010 when the three old friends, Robert, Thomas and Patrick met and started talking about doing something together. After a few months of writing music they found the sound they were looking for and the band HAVEN becomes official. But one piece was still missing, After lots of searching and a lot of bass auditions, one man came into the room and began to play … and that was it … Jens stepped in and took the place as HAVEN’s bassist.
HAVEN released the album “asylum” in autumn 2012, which led to gigs at festivals and clubs throughout 2013. In 2014 HAVEN chose to concentrate on recording the new album “Shut Up And Listen” that has release in 2015. The album “Shut up and Listen” is produced and designed by Phillip Crusner. Alx Jonsson from White Trash Heroes (formerly Fatal Smile) and Days of Anger visiting HAVENS new album. At the same time the band was signed to World wide music management and shortly thereafter the lead guitar player Thomas Ricketts decided to leave the band. This did not affect the band as the lead guitar player Mark Hosri jumped into the band.
