lets fans know that hard rock is on the mend. Bands like Firehouse, Cinderella, and many others are on their second uprising and Gypsy Rose is following in the footsteps of some highly touted bands. Their music is vibrant and has the lasting memories of other past favorites Trixter and Bonfire. The songs are catchy and have feeling.

Their tunes are very much AOR radio friendly and they should have success with their new self-titled release Gypsy Rose. “Moonlight” has those lighters ablaze with the young girls waving their arms in delight. The lead vocalist, Hakan Gustafsson, sounds a lot like Tom Keifer of Cinderella. If this CD was made back in the eighties, it would be an instant hit and they would be mega stars. Songs like “Queen Of The Night” would fit perfectly with a tune by Richard Marx.

You remember Richard Marx was a huge talent and the girls would swarm around him like a honeysuckle. Well Gypsy Rose will not have that effect but their music is just as good or better. The songwriting ability is sensational and the music has success written all over it. There is not a bad track on the entire CD. The only thing negative you might say is that, ‘I heard a song like that before’, and if that is a negative, I would gladly be member of Gypsy Rose, I would be ecstatic. Check these guys out!!
