All songs recorded at the Millbrook Sound studios,Millbrook, U.S.A. (2002) A year and a half ago the four Earrings went again to the United States. They wanted to record a record the old fashioned way, without distraction
from the outside.
The result was a vital sounding album, with the name of the American studio.Meanwhile the DVD release took place, so we can see Cesar, Barry, George and Rinus at work. Many colleague reporters have the opinion that there is not
much extra on the DVD after the CD. The repertory is identical and the men are playing forced funny.
This reproach is not right. Everyone who has been in a intensive studio session knows that it is always a matter of stress and relaxation. The be focussed to the music, rewriting the lyrics at the spot, discussions in the
control- room, buying new boots, playing with the dog, hang out in the bar and talk silly belong together. It makes the music better.
