Ghosthill were established in spring 2009 in the western part of Russia, in the rainy Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg).

January 1, 2010 the band released their debut album "Embrace Of A Chasm". For the period 2010 Ghosthill performed at various shows in the Kaliningrad region, where the program was presented in support of the first album. In autumn 2010, Ghosthill left bassist Leo (Leonid Bogoutdinov). He was replaced by Andrew (Andrew Kosenkov).
