Aussie melodic rockers FROZEN TEARS consisting of lead vocalist Thanis Akritidis and guitarist / keyboardist Jon Powers are releasing a reimagined, remixed and remastered version of their debut album ‘Silence of The Night’. The “new” album has been dubbed ”Silence of The Night – Turbo Deluxe Edition” and will be released via MR Records.
Originally released in 1997, ‘Silence Of The Night’ is one of the much sought after indie CD’s out there. Frozen Tears went into an extended hiatus not long after the release of the album and its subsequent tour to promote, but the band never officially broke up, and a coule years ago started to work on this ‘Turbo Deluxe Edition’, which not only has been remixed, but many parts re-recorded.
Musically these guys are in the purest tradition of the genre mixing rockers with smooth AOR melodies, and a wide range of influences ranging from Kiss, Crystal Blue, Leatherwolf, to Roxus, Giant, Signal, TNT, The Promise, etc.
