Firenote is a hard rock act from Finland which has been blowing the Finnish AOR scene away for a few years now with their melodic hard rock music. The main idea is to bring back the good old melodies and catchy choruses because most of today’s bands seem to have forgotten them somewhere.

Self-titled, larger than life sounding debut album “Firenote” includes 11 hit songs from raging and adrenaline-flowing tracks to beautiful power ballads. The common factor for all the songs is the urge to get your head out the sunroof and start singing along!
Firenote started at full speed in the beginning of 2005. It took tons of gigs and hard work before Finnish indie-label IVK music signed the best-kept hard rock secret from Finland in summer 2008. With the help of producer Erkka Korhonen (Urban tale, Norther Kings, Ari Koivunen etc.) the band took a huge step forward in every musical aspect creating a buzz in the Finnish AOR scene.
The biggest rock radio station in Finland (Radio Rock) took the album’s first two singles (Danger & Sara La Fountain) to their playlist even though this type of music isn’t mainstream in Finnish radio.
In 2009 there are few groups making similar melodic hard rock.
Firenote rises above all the other due to better compositions and catchier choruses.
