FARO is a new musical project that has found its final form in the skillful hands of the most experienced musicians.The group combines a variety of influences that are embodied in an exotic bouquet of different styles, giving rise to the greatest pearl of Melodic Hard Rock.
The leader of FARO is the charitable leading vocalist Chitral "Chity" Somapala, well known for his amazing vocal work with the melodic progressive metal band AVALON. He was born in Sri Lanka in the family of famous musicians.
In 2002, he recorded the song "Greenlands" for the international rugby championship in ISIPATHANA.
