The German Symphonic Metal band DYING PHOENIX will release a new album entitled 'Winter Is Coming' on May 26, 2023 via El Puerto Records. The German symphonic metal band takes us thematically into the worlds of George R.R. Martin. Sometimes heavy, sometimes melancholic but always epic and melodic. The lyrics are penned by singer Pat St. James and Oliver Palotai (Kamelot), who also wrote the music for and produced this debut.
The songs are carried by the different vocal characters of the three singers Pat St. James, Erica Bianca and Moran Magal. Harley Velasquez's album cover art reflects the epic mood of the album very well.
The album shows an enormous range and definitely has the potential to take symphonic metal to a new level.
