DREAM THEATER, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated and millions-selling legends of progressive music, are pleased to announce the release of another volume of their ‘Lost Not Forgotten Archives’ series. This fresh collaboration between the band and record label InsideOutMusic see the virtuosic quintet’s long-standing Ytsejam Records catalogue reissued, alongside some brand new additions to this special collectors series.
Ytsejam Records previously played host to Dream Theater’s official collection comprising of live shows, demos & studio outtakes from throughout the band’s prolific career. As part of the ‘Lost Not Forgotten Archives’, the entirety of the collection will be reissued on CD, as well as for the very first time on vinyl and digital, with brand new artwork and packaging.
The new release in the reinvigorated archival series is ”Old Bridge, New Jersey 1996”, containing an entire show from Dream Theater’s brief ‘Escape from the Studio’ tour that took place prior to the release of their 1997 album, ‘Falling Into Infinity’.
Featuring early versions of tracks that would end up on that album, including ‘Peruvian Skies’, ‘Lines in the Sand’ & ‘Burning My Soul’, as well as several selections from the ‘A Change Of Seasons’ suite, the recording shows Dream Theater’s impressive delivery.
