Dream Company is an Italian melodic hard rock band that was originally a Bon Jovi tribute band. The current line up, Giulio Garghentini (vocals), Enrico Modini (guitars and keyboards), Stefano Scola (bass) and Davide Colombi (drums) took an important step as they decided to become a band offering original compositions. Excellent choice since October 11, 2019, will release the first album of the band that responds to the beautiful name of The Wildest Season.
And cleverly, the band joined the brilliant Mario Percudani (guitarist of Hungryheart and Hardline) to produce the album, do some backing vocals and play some parts of keyboards. But also, Mario participates in eight of the ten compositions of the album. The friend Alessandro del Vecchio (Hardline) masterizes the album. Dream Company has signed with the excellent Italian label, Tanzan Music.
Dream Company is perhaps for most people here on the site a new name in the melodic hard rock. But the band has actually been active since 2006. Now they release their debut album "The Wildest Season" which I think is surprisingly good. Then I think first and foremost of the songs "Days In Blue" (the album's first single) "Mine Mine Mine", "River Of Love" and "The Ghost" which are clearly the best track of the album. Sure it swayes some songs but as a whole this is an approved debut. As producers, by the way, you find Mario Percudani (Hungry Heart, Mitch Malloy, Hardline) and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Edge Of Forever) who managed to get a good soundscape.
My absolute favorite songs are track number two "Mine Mine Mine", which has a really strong and engaging chorus. The slightly finer-tuned song "River Of Love" also doesn't go away for hacking. Italian Dream Company has done a good job of creating "The Wildest Season", however, there is some missing to reach the absolute top. Maybe you do it with a possible sequel? But right now you have to settle for a reasonably high grade. If you like bands like Hardline, Danger Zone and 91 Suite you should give this ...
