The three-piece band from Zurich Switzerland Dr. Elephant's Revolution [short: D.E.R.] was founded in 2010/2011. The band describes their musical style ironically as "Looney", because they do not like to push into a genre, nor to define their music style. "Looney" was described by the band as "the essence that gives the madness". In principle, however, is not to be obeyed that their music u.A. Rock and metal. The band name has sprung from the imagination of frontman Maggie de Vault and is intended to symbolize the "urge for something new".
