There is a current trend for New York Dolls inspired, low-slung sleazy punk with bands such as Continental Lovers and The Derellas garnering attention, and I for one welcome all of them with open arms and can now add Diamonds and Guns to that select roster. This is party time sleaze at its finest and a superb taster for what one hopes will be an equally brilliant debut album.
