David Byrne is well known to everyone who was born at least half a century ago. His genius as the frontman for Talking Heads was literally the backbone of the band.

This film shows that its brilliance has not yet dried up. American Utopia is a show in which fantastic music alternates with witty commentary on life in general and life in America in particular. The world has changed a lot in the last 50 years, but much has remained the same, and David Byrne's particular view of the world has not fundamentally changed, which is good.
