In the beginning it was still fascinated what people like Jason Becker, Tony MacAlpine, Vinne Moore and Marty Friedman drew from their six strings, but at some point the market predominantly instrumental albums was just oversaturated.

In the instrumental pieces always resonates with a certain Joe Satriani feeling and the driving Uptemposongs exude the charm of a Vinnie Moore.
But more importantly, Danny Masters proves to be an artist who is capable of exciting instrumentals far compose of egocentric Gedudel what a typical Vinnie Moore specialty was also.
Typical of an album this weight class that Danny Masters shows very versatile and can be demonstrated in different styles and moods:
From the hard, fast guitar riffs dominated A Christian in India over the worn, majestic Eyes of god, the classically inspired Preludio in G minor to discreetly bluesy Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas dedicated wind.
Versatility is also becoming popular among the pieces with vocals and the Axeman invites you to a journey through the American heavy rock history of the last twenty years a.
The creaping from the east could well come from the temptation The last phase of ALICE COOPER, Scarlet heart I mean ever to have heard of DOKKEN as it's not love and Diamond eyes reminiscent of VINNIE VINCENT INVASION.
Unfortunately, there are also songs like baby blue, the fall of composition and also I like the vocals of Danny nowhere near as good as his guitar playing.[/spoiler]

This album is only recommended for real guitar freaks. But for which the access is definitely worth because the jewels were sown last but very rare in this genre. Although Electric Babylon only in parts fit for the classic, so it's a pleasant positive surprise.
