Power Surge (PRO-CD-2876 / 1987) is a limited edition two CD sampler issued by Geffen Records to promote recordings from hard rockers Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Tesla, Guns N' Roses, Y & T, EZO and Sammy Hagar. Each group/artist is represented by four tracks (two per disc). Whitesnake's "Crying in the Rain" (the '87 version of the David Coverdale penned number) opens the twenty-eight song compilation set, which closes with the title track from Aerosmith's '87 LP.
