Since their 2009 debut album, Swedish melodic rockers COLDSPELL created a stir in rock circles, received stunning reviews all over the world and their 4 CD releases were on several album “toplists” each year.
Formed in 2005 by former R.A.W. guitarist & songwriter Michael Larsson, the music of COLDSPELL combines the best from traditional ’80s Scandinavian melodic rock, ’90s hard rock / melodic metal, and a modern, contemporary sonic approach.
COLDSPELL is easily one of the most refreshing acts from the genre, a band who updated that classic rock music to modern times never forgetting the huge melodies and catchy hooks.
The band released four albums so far; 2009’s Infinite Stargaze, 2011’s Out from the Cold, 2013’s Frozen Paradise, and 2017’s A New World Arise, all via Escape Music, all out of print.
None of the albums were available on digital – so now Swedish label Sun Hill Production are reissuing today August 19th, 2022, all COLDSPELL albums for the first time.
