Originally named "The Blue Velvets", the band was founded in 1959 by singer-guitarist John Fogety. Renamed "Creedence Clearwater Revival" in 1967, C.C.R. decided to attract the attention of a large public with her debut - an album named after the group, released in 1968. This DVD shows their amazing performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1970, two years before they disbanded in 1972.

It formed a part of the launch for the Jimi Hendrix Live At Monterey program and featured Gary Moore and his band performing classic Hendrix tracks. At the end of the night Gary was joined by Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox of the Jimi Hendrix Experience for 3 tracks. Gary Moore was one of the finest British guitarists of all time and is one of the few players who could pay homage to Jimi Hendrix's groundbreaking and truly distinctive guitar style. Scottish hard rock band, founded in 1988 by former New Model Army member Ricky Warwick. The band combined punk rock and heavy metal and achieved their greatest success with the Soul Destruction and Powertrippin 'albums released in the early 1990s.
