My Goth, I am glad to be one of the first to listen to this Magnum Opus! 'The Rites of passage' is dark and heavy, but it drags you into the music, once the gates are openened.
So from the start i was moved into this dark story that gave me the creeps, guided by a very talented voice.
The studio and artwork are really from the same level as what has been done on Abbey Road.
The time is now to get hooked on The Whispers in The Shadow: they have never been so good and have found what they are strong in: telling dark stories, guided by guitars with a certain retro 80' sound (with a slight Muse 'injection'), not to forget the synth and drums (with their typical sound) and for sure: making their own music as only they can make it sound like.

Just like the first words in his song, Blues Gumbo, Larry Tillery was indeed "born in Beaumont". Beaumont, Texas that is.

24-7 Spyz (pronounced "twenty-four-seven spies") are a band from the South Bronx, New York, formed in 1986, originally consisting of Jimi Hazel (real name, Wayne K. Richardson) (guitar), Rick Skatore (real name, Kenneth D. Lucas) (bass), Kindu Phibes (drums), and P. Fluid (real name, Peter Forrest) (vocals).
The band is best known for mixing soul, funk, reggae, and R&B with heavy metal and hardcore punk. The fact that they are African Americans playing variations of heavy metal led critics to compare them to bands such as Living Colour and Bad Brains. Though they were pioneers in the fusion of these particular music styles, influencing many bands, they have never achieved substantial commercial success. After several lineup changes, the band broke up in 1998, but reformed in 2003 before releasing their first new album of original material in over a decade in 2006.
