CD 1 contains Dark Side Of The Moon (in full) as interpreted by luminaries of the world rock scene (members of King Crimson, Yes, The Doors, Toto and Asia, among others). More»

What you have here is a solid collection of re-recordings of Goblin's best work by Claudio Simonetti's band he currently tours as "Claudio Simonetti's Goblin." While this is probably not as strong as the 2013 EP released by the reunited Goblin to coincide with their American tour, this album exhibits excellent musicianship and more than a few crafty twists on familiar tracks. Ferdy Doernberg – Just A Piano And A Handful Of Dreams (1995)
Jan 16, 2015 13:54
Hard Rock Progressive Rock
In its final output 'Walls Of Never' had the Hanoverian Rough Silk leave the metal rail in favor of proggigen Rocks. So it is hardly surprising that Rough Silk keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg läbt are largely left on his solo album Metal. In most cases, it sounds by mixing of Al Stewart's 'Year Of The Cat' and the final 'The Final Cut' by Pink Floyd. Slow Motion, a little bit rock and a lot of feeling. On the Organ Witchcraft 'The Organization', however, a Jon Lord would be proud of yourself, and bluesy as 'A Telephone Operator Love Story' is never of Use.
