SIOS looks to break barriers and leave their mark in and beyond the music world. The band is made up of four self-taught individuals who go above and beyond to create an eclectic world; not only through their music, but also through the fictional concept they have created to serve as the backdrop to their sound. During an uncertain period in his life, lead guitarist Christian “Enigma” Cruz decided to reach out to former guitar student and band mate Phillip “Dice” Defreitas, to begin a new band with the goal of reaching millions of people and sharing their unique ideas with the world. ? would like to begin by mentioning what impressed me the most since minute one. The voice! It’s solid and “thick”, it’s powerful and passionate. Falsettos are a parameter for sure as well as a fabulous vibrato, almost operatic! On the other hand, it possesses so much roughness, it can Rock as hell! The Greek band is here to suggest some of their own things around Metal, served with lyrical extensions; I’d say it’s a pure Metal band, featuring Progressive elements. Motif is epical and majestic, choruses are totally melodic; you are about to listen to some Doom tunes, that’s also inside the package. For instance, “Cage of sins” is one of those songs…

Stone Sour will release the first installment of the double album "House of Gold & Bones Part 1" on October 23rd, 2012, with the second installment to follow in 2013. The album was recorded at Sound Farm Studios just outside of the band's native Des Moines, Iowa with producer David Bottrill. The first two tracks from the record can be heard in the player available below.
Barbarella is a rockband from Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The band is inspired by ’60?s and ’70?s hardrock, punk, grunge and stoner rock. Combine Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Deep Purple, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Smashing Pumpkins and you’ll get an idea of what it’s all about.Modern Times Rock ‘n’ Roll: heavy, in your face music.
I am Samuel, a Swedish guitar player living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I play music with hints of jazz, country, metal, noise and blooming cherry trees. When not doing concerts, recordings or compose music, I teach musical interplay and improvisation at various schools in Sweden. I’m also a proud receiver of the “Jazz in Sweden” award 2010. The 13-track release features not only fresh takes on classics such as "Jingle Bells," "Winter Wonderland" and even "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer," but also original compositions that are destined to become future headbanging holiday favorites. The album also compiles remixed and remastered versions of the band's previous holiday hits, like "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Little Drummer Boy."
